Full English breakfast
A coordinated fry-up of back bacon, pork sausage, eggs, black pudding, beans, mushrooms, tomato, and toast.

Equipment
- A similarly sized 13 × 18-inch rimmed pan works; smaller pans make a thicker pizza.
Ingredients
1× recipe · Makes 4 servings
- 8 British-style pork sausages
- 8 rashers back bacon
- 8 slices black pudding
- 4 plum tomatoes, halved
- 12 ounces button mushrooms, halved
- 1 can (14 ounces) British-style baked beans
- 4 pasteurized large eggs
- 8 slices thick white or brown bread
- 3 tablespoons neutral oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- Brown sauce or tomato ketchup, for serving
Instructions
Heat oven to 400°F. Put sausages on a and roast, turning once, until browned and 160°F, 25 to 30 minutes; do not prick them.
During the final 15 minutes, add tomatoes cut-side up and black pudding to a second tray. Heat beans gently in a small saucepan without boiling them dry.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a wide skillet. Brown mushrooms in one uncrowded layer, season, and transfer to the oven. Cook bacon in the same skillet until edges crisp; hold warm.
Toast bread and butter it. Wipe the skillet, add remaining oil, and fry pasteurized eggs until whites set and yolks remain soft.
Plate every component immediately, keeping toast crisp and beans contained enough that diners can decide what mixes. Serve with brown sauce or ketchup.
